He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie L. Thomas and Leona Duncan Thomas; his father-in-law James E. "Joe" Moss; and his brother-in-law Edwin C. Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his wife Janette Moss Thomas; his siblings, H. Leon Thomas (Tricia) and Mary T. Wilson; his mother-in-law Patricia L. Moss; and his sisters-in-law, Jody M. Thomas (John), Jackie M. Fitzgerald and Jennifer M. Fielder (Emmett). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Madison Heights Baptist Church (329 Main St, Madison Heights, VA 24572). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
