She was predeceased by: her parents, David Ellison Evans and Annie Pitts Evans; her former husband Preston Scott, Sr.; and her husband Thomas Melville Stewart. She is survived by: her children, Preston "Jerry" Scott (Barbara) of Springfield, GA, Helen Alicia Raleigh (Harry) of Cincinnati, OH and Martha Ratliff (T. Clark) of Amherst, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great- grandchildren.
