He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Abernathy; and his brother Andy Abernathy. He is survived by: his mother Rebecca Bishop; his brother James Abernathy; his children, Amanda Abernathy, William Abernathy Jr. and Crystal Abernathy; and his grandchildren, Willow, Charlie and Miles.
