He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Jones and Mattie Jones of Amelia, VA; and his siblings, Doris Jones, Emma Lee Moore and Henry Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his siblings, Sid (Judy) of Chesterfield and Mitzie Flippin (Richard) of Amelia; his children, Troy Flippin (Virginia) of Amelia, Tracey Harris (John David Morris) of Amelia and Brian Jones of Amelia; and his stepchildren, Pam Wilmoth (Greg) of Chesterfield and Kelly Sullinger (Mike) of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren.
