It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Jefferson Easter (Amelia Court House, Virginia), who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wives, Annie McCraw and Elinor Smith Gunter; his parents, Frank Easter and Edna Kenny Easter; his stepfather Monroe Easter; his siblings, Clyde, Martin, Jimmy, Kent, Elmer (Buster) and Eva Sue Rector; and his children, Randy and Dottie Gunter.

He is survived by: his daughters, Anita Harrington of Chester and Susie Gunter of Amelia; his daughter-in-law Myra Easter of Amelia; his son Roy David Gunter of Amelia; his siblings, Floyd Easter (Lola) of Amelia, Josephine Smith of Gloucester, Peggy Perry and Sarah Johnson (Dwight) of Richmond; and his caregivers, Kathy Wood and Golorious Robertson (Jeff Burke). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
