He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dixon; his children, Pam Skidmore (David), Carolyn Collins (Tim) and Thomas Dixon, Jr.; his grandchildren, Candice Young, David Skidmore, Jr., Timothy Collins, Jr., Erica Newcomb, Leann Dixon and Thomas Dixon, III; and his sisters, Shirley Roberts, Barbara Phillips and Elizabeth Eggleston. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
