He is survived by: his parents, David Bezares and Candy Bezares of Amelia; his sister Elisabeth Poore (Timmy Poore, Jr.) of Amelia; his aunt Joan Ciejek; his uncle Johnny Bezares of Tennessee; and his cousins, Crystal Ciejek of Amelia, Jennifer Ramirez of Massachusetts and Matthew Dawson of California.

“I worked with Michael when we were teenagers. I remember a few guys came and started bullying him at our place of employment, and stood up for him. His Dad personally thanked me and I've never forgotten it. Michael was a great guy who wanted to fit in and never got a fair chance, misunderstood. But, I'm glad I got to know him, not because of his generosity or kindness, but because he made life fun. I regret moving away for better employment opportunities, I wish I could hang out one more time.”
