She was predeceased by : her mother Marjorie Cary Wilkinson. She is survived by : her husband Richard Cumbie Sr.; her children, Richard Jr. (Bridget), Jessica Anders (Tim), Alec (Jess) and Heather Ramsey (Brandon); her brothers, Bobby Wilkinson (Kathy), Ricky Wilkinson (Gina) and Dale Wilkinson (Donna); and her father Claude Edward.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amelia Baptist Church (9101 Amelia St, Amelia Court House, VA 23002). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at the Rennie Memorial Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the VCU Pauly Heart Center.
