She was predeceased by: her husband E. C. "Smutt" Smith; her brother George L. Sowers; and her son-in-law James T. Warren. She is survived by: her children, David C. Smith (Brenda) of Vinton, VA and Ann S. Warren of Chesterfield, VA; and her stepdaughter Mary Ellen Little (Leslie). She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grand daughters.
