He is survived by: his wife Margie S. Owens; his children, Brenda Owens Butler (Herbert), Mary Ann Jenkins, Arlethia Mclver (Bruce), Joseph Owens, Jr. Owens (Geraldyne), Percell Owens (Marie), Ike Owens (Joan), William Owens (Joyce) and Robert Owens (Rosa); his siblings, JoAnn Jennings, Frances Owens, Lawrence Owens, Sr. and John Owens; his siblings-in-law, Gladys Person, Alice Tyler, Helen Royal, Gloria Thompson and Leroy Bailey; and his niece Dorothy Scott. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren with a host of nieces and nephews.
