He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John C. Morris and Florence K. Morris; his wife Betty; his children, Kent Emerson, John David Morris, Kelly Lee Morris, Ashli, Holt, Jessica and Mark Emerson; and his brothers, William "Willie" C. Morris and Jerry Lee Morris.
