He is survived by: his wife Etta Montague; his daughter Angela Montague; his grandchildren, Jayvion Bowles, Jaiden Bowles, Jaquan Martin Jr. and Daysha Martin; his brother Timothy Jones; his cousins, Bercenia Smith, Lyndon, Reginald and Douglas Gibson; his siblings-in-law, John Monroe (Addie), Alice Delaney (Frank), Margaret Bethune, Ruth Milner and Carolyn Brown (Clayton); and his aunts, Laura Carter and Vera Gibson.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the M. W. Hawkes Funeral Home (15001 Patrick Henry Hwy, Amelia Court House, VA 23002). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Little Union Baptist Church (13901 Clement Town Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002).
