He was predeceased by: his mother Nellie Mae Poole Gravley; and his close friend Ginny Metz. He is survived by: his father Ernest B. Gravley, Jr.; his son Shaun Michael Gravley of Dundak, MD; his brother Richard Gravley (Manda); his cousins, William Ray Sexton of Amelia and Anita Farnsworth of Amelia; and his nieces, Joann Mix and Amy Neal. He is also survived by two great nieces and numerous cousins.
