He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Earl Brown and Ernest Cleveland Lee, Sr.; his wife Jane Alice Stewart Lee; his siblings, Ruby Castellow (Basil), Nina, Alice Evans (Roy), Thelma Morris (Frank) and Ernest Cleveland Lee, Jr. (Myrtle); and his brothers-in-law, Samuel Shelton Stewart II (Carmen) and Henry Hadley Stewart, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Karen L. Clarke and Brian S. Lee (Dawn); his sister-in-law Marilyn J. Stewart; his grandchildren, Aaron Lee (Kim), Cameron Lee (Nicole), Jordan Clarke, Christopher Clarke and Lucy Clarke; and his great grandchildren, Teagan Lee, Emery Lee, Ruby Quinn Lee and Braelynn Perna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
