Though Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sisters, Becky Byrd Lacks (Jerry Lacks) and Kay Byrd Wright; his grandsons, Winn (Taylor Winn) and Ryley Justus; and his great grandchild Parker Mae Winn. He was also cherished by his nephews, nieces & many cousins.
