He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Leon Rioux, Sr. and Mary "Mae" Elizabeth Fazekas; and his siblings, Richard Rioux, Dorothy "Dottie" Brown, Elizabeth "Betty" Rioux and Shirley Houston.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline Emma LeTarte of Brunswick, Maine.; his children, Cynthia Ann Beeson (Randy) of Chesterfield, Virginia, Mark William Rioux (Vickie) of Gloucester, Virginia and Cheri Mae Mitchell (Jon) of Bradenton, Florida; his grandchildren, Bradley Wayne Beeson (Emily), Brian Christopher Beeson (Caitlin), Michelle Lynn Rioux and Dennis Logan Rioux; and his great grandchildren, Brenna Nicole Beeson and Micah Grace Beeson. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
