She was predeceased by: her parents, G. Dewey Joyce and Florence Leistra Joyce; her husband Willie Hicks; and her son Joseph Hicks. She is survived by: her daughters, Marsha Bishop of Chesterfield, Virginia Boyles (David) of Amelia and Kelly Steele (Lester) of Amelia; her grandchildren, Bobby Lee Golding, Christina Boyles, Danielle Boyles, Holly Steele and Jeffrey Steele; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Colgin and Preston Owens.
