It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Aubrey Anderson (Amelia Court House, Virginia), who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Anderson and Ida Mae Hawks Anderson; and his siblings, John "Sonny", William, George, Thomas "Buster", Douglas, Joseph "Joe", Dorothy Woods, Margaret "Kitty" Willing, Elizabeth Morris, Alison Boyles and Ernestine Poore.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Morris Anderson; his children, Terri Wood (Tony), Chuck (Lori), Kelly (Angie) and Shane Dowdy (Steve); his grandchildren, Leslie Wood, Meredith Boggs (Justin), Erin Curry (Ryan), Jordan Davidson (Ben), Austin, Vance Anderson, Ryan, Kyle Anderson, Tucker Dowdy (Annee), Morgan and Dylan Dowdy; his great grandchildren, Jack Boggs, Daniel and Ellia Dowdy; and his sister Shirley Martin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
