He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Muncie Dodson and Syble Marguerite Wagner Dodson (Aubrey); his sisters, Ruth Russell and Audrey Utz; and his nephew John Utz.
He is survived by: his wife Blanton Felts Dodson; his children, Doris (Shane), Dawna (Richard) and Andrew (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Sarah (John), Shaun and Collin; his sister Ramona Clopton; and his brother-in-law Chuck Utz (Bess). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Moores Church Cemetery Fund in care of David Felts, Jr., 11351 Reed Rock Road, Amelia, Virginia 23002.
