She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Stewart and Alma Royal Stewart; her sons, Waverly Lawrence, Jr. (Mary) and Roy Lee Lawrence (Bertha); her siblings, Richard, Robert Stewart, Alease Jackson and Mary Brown; her brother-in-law Lawrence; and her parents-in-law, Norman Threatt and Mary Hayes Threatt.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Lawrence Jackson (Norman, Sr.); her grandchildren, Norman Jackson, Jr., Derrick Lawrence, Ashley Hewlett (Ricky, Jr.) and Tevin Lawrence (Romesia); her great grandchildren, Keiontra, Darrik, Darriel, Kalon, Greylyn, Derrick Jr., Brennan, Raelynn, Ryann and Ra'Lani; her sisters, Myrtle Scott and Sadie Jefferson (Thomas Jr.); her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Threatt and Helen Robertson (late Herman); and her caregiver Gale Robinson.
