She was predeceased by: her parents, Algie Bowen and Mildred Wilkerson Bowen; her husband William "Billy" Lawrence Jackson; and her siblings, Lewis, Amos, Carlton, Grey Bowen and Eva Prince.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Glasscock (Eddie), Wanda Reaves (Tony) and Brenda Throckmorton (Jason); her grandchildren, Berry, Allyson Glasscock, Lewis, Jennifer Reaves, Curtis, Angela Reaves, Emerson, Christian Quick and Avery Throckmorton; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Leyla, Timber, Easton, River, Archer Reaves and Lorelai Quick; her siblings, Junie Bowen and Ike Bowen (Jerri); and her caregivers, Edna Fields, Margie Hughes and Shirley Puryear.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home (115 Main St, South Boston, VA 24592). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alton Baptist Church (5071 Harmony Rd, Alton, VA 24520). A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the Alton Baptist Church Cemetery (5071 Harmony Rd, Alton, VA 24520).
