He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bernice Jones and Margaret Avery Jones; his brothers, Johnny Jones and Linwood Jones; and his brother-in-law Marc Strother.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Jones Jr. (Jo Ann) of Goldsboro, Kenneth Ray Jones (Wanda) of Pikeville, Margaret Ann Stanley (Leroy) of Goldsboro, Mary Kearney (Steve) of Goldsboro and Brenda Strother of Kinston; and his sister-in-law Kay Jones of Mount Olive. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She stated we had not seen Bobby for 2 years due to COVID but so thankful to be able to see him in his final days, hold his hand and let him know how much we all loved him.
