He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Morris and Frances Rebecca Rogers Rice. He is survived by: his son Elijah Christopher Rice of Iowa; and his siblings, Rebecca Cook (Mike) of Brookneal, Stewart Rice and Randall Rice of Altavista. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
