She is survived by: her husband Darius Brooks; her children, Felicia Ragsdale (Kercin) of Gretna, Terry Barbour of Glen Burnie, Maryland and Brendon Patrick of Lynchburg, Virginia; her grandchildren, Trinity Barksdale, Tynajah Barbour, Kaleah Anderson and Kamira Anderson; her great grandchild Cai'ora Hall; her sisters, Virginia Barbour (Thomas) of Altavista, Lena Chandler (Mark) of Gretna, Patricia Moore (Darryl) of Danville, Virginia and Jackie Barley of Long Island, Virginia; her brothers-in-law, Eric'Wendell'Brooks of Hurt, Gregory Brooks of Hurt and Early'Jerry'Brooks of Altavista, Virginia; her aunts, Cora Barbour (John) of Nathalie and Ruby Hall (Curtis) of Long Island, Virginia; and her friends, Hattie Clark and Pearline Glass.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home (668 Zion Rd, Gretna, VA 24557). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Republican Grove Baptist Church (1075 Tobacco Rd, Nathalie, VA 24577). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Republican Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (1065 Tobacco Rd, Nathalie, VA 24577).
