She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake E. Barrett and Elsie McDaniel Barrett; her husband Walter C. Denton; her son Ronald Eugene Denton; and her brothers, James F. Barrett, Ernest Lovelace Barrett and Raymond O. Barrett.
She is survived by: her son Robert C. Denton of Altavista; her siblings, Oscar R. Barrett (Ann) of Lynchburg, Lucille Walden of Hurt and Brenda Whitten (Jim) of Lavon, Texas; and her granddaughter Crystal McCall (Geoff) of Lynchburg.
