She was predeceased by: her parent Richard Lee Johnston; her husband Richard Carroll McCrickard; and her sister Bernice Atkinson. She is survived by: her parent Mary Mildred Marlow Johnston; her children, Robert W. McCrickard (Lynn) of Altavista, Patrick Reed McCrickard of Hurt and Melba M. Reedy (Matt) of Altavista; her brother Ronald Johnston; and her grandchildren, Mehgan McCrickard, Lauren Terry, Leah Revelle and Evan Reedy.
