She is survived by: her siblings, Elsie Gregory of Hurt, VA, Ella Mae Monroe of Hurt, VA and James "Champ" Nowlin (Mary Ann) of Brookneal, VA; her godchildren, Angela Dews and Stanley Gregory; her sisters-in-law, Lena Hipp of Hurt, VA and Shirley Willis of Williamsburg, VA; her niece Karen Monroe Hayes of Lynchburg, VA; and her friend Dianna Dews. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
