He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dennis Thomas Clay and Addie Mae Jones Clay; his wife Becky Catron Clay; his daughter Shari Searcy Fowley of Keene; his siblings, Jerry Clay (Martha) of Danville and Joyce Moorefield of Gretna; his son-in-law Daniel Fowley III of Charlottesville; and his grandchildren, Daniel Fowley IV of Big Sky, MT and Keelin Fowley of Keene. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
