She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lee Harmon and Virginia Burnette Harmon of Altavista, VA.; her spouse Thomas Lanier Pollok of Gladys, VA.; and her sister Doris Harmon Moorefield of Scottsburg, VA.. She is survived by: her son Robert Copland Smith; her daughter-in-law Sheia Smith of Newton, NC; her grandchildren, Brandy Church (Jeffrey Church) of Stanley, NC and Zachary T. Smith of Newton, NC; her great grandchildren, Geoffrey Church and Henry Church; her sister Myrtle Harmon Schrader of Cullowhee, NC; and her siblings-in-law, William Hughes Pollok and Martha Pollok Morris.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Gladys Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 85, Gladys, VA 24554 or to Wesleybury United Methodist Church.
