He is survived by: his son Anthony Leftwich (Sarah) of Roanoke, VA; his parents, Mildred W. Turner of Alexandria, VA and James M. Turner of New Jersey; his siblings, Ruth Cheshier (Jerry), Doris Turner and James E. Turner (Karen) of Bedford, VA.; his nephew Kevin Cheshier of Alexandria, VA; and his niece Brittany Turner of Bedford, VA. He is also survived by several aunts; a host of cousins and friends.
