It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Elmo Martin Jr. of Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Martin and Eleanor L. Martin; and his brother Rodney A. Martin. He is survived by: his children, Drukevia Biggs, Cashawn Sydnor, Willie Brim, Aisha Wellington, LaToya Martin, Aaron Gray, Amber Agee, Alexis Agee, Chasiti Jackson, Jade Kirkland and Brandon Johnson; his sisters, Jane M. Wilson (Reginald), Brenda M. (Casey), King (Brennan) and Jacqueline D. Martin (Cynthia A. Martin); and his close friend Ann Allmond. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
