It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vilma Alteah Scott (Alexandria, Virginia), born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Vilma Alteah is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Vilma Alteah's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her children, Christina, Jennifer and Howard; and her grandchildren, Desta and Alexandra.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home & Crematory (1500 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
