She was predeceased by: her parents, Arminius "Jack" Tolson, Sr. and Thelma L. Tolson; her siblings, Marie Dixon, Arminius Tolson, Jr. and Walter Lewis; her son Robert M. Tolson; and her nephews, Earl and Benjamin Dixon.

She is survived by: her son Franklyn Tolson (Yvonne); her grandchildren, Yolanda Tolson, Danielle Tolson-BouDreaux and Robert Tolson II (Shannon Blanchard); her great grandchildren, Theodore Ingram IV, Tristan Melton, Jayla Cuyler, Master Cori BouDreaux, Camiya BouDreaux and Robert Tolson III; her siblings, Lucille Tolson and Benjamin Preston Tolson; and her nephews, Harry Dixon (Stephanie), Ralph Dixon (Carol) and Michael Tolson. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and friends.
