She was predeceased by: her husband Linwood P. Coffey; her parents, Luther Edward and Nora May Cornell; her son Linwood Preston Coffey; and her grandchildren, Bobby Coffey and Jacqueline Jones Costa.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Peyton, Patsy Dye (Robert) and Carol Schepmoes.

Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital in Virginia's honor.
