It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sue Elaine Banks of Alexandria, Virginia, born in Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David "Chuck" Dudley Thornton and Joan Mercedes Banks; and her brother Tyrone Banks. She is survived by: her daughter Lauren Winger; her godson Gerrod Wright, Jr.; and her siblings, David M. Banks (Sharon), LaVerne Wright (George Wright, Jr.), Deborah Davis and Rhonda Mason. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
