He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Gardner and Carl Gardner; and his siblings, Juanita, Roberta, Betty Jo and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his daughters, Patricia Arnold (Tim), Barbara Elliff (Chris) and Jennifer Gardner; and his grandchildren, Meagan Arnold, David Arnold, Allison Arnold, Katie Lynne Elliff, Carter Elliff and Landry Elliff.
