He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edward Butler Sr. and Virginia Butler (Robey). He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Terry Butler; and his children, Robert Edward Butler III (Trisha) of Bristow, VA and Deborah Bademian (David) of Manassas, VA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
