With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Christian Doerschner of Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Fran; his parents, George Doerschner and Marie Doerschner; his siblings, Norman Doerschner and Mary; and his brother-in-law Sam Weis.
He is survived by: his son Rob; his girlfriend Janice Bryner of Alexandria, VA; his brother Don Doerschner (Bernigene) of Mars, PA; his nieces, Christy Matheny (Mark) of Union, WV, Nancy Dunn (Bob) of Fairmont, WV, Conni Wilson (Lloyd) of Ross Township, PA and Nancy Haupt (Dave) of Dover, DE; his nephew Ed Doerschner of Mars, PA; and his godson Bob Kress of Wexford, PA. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, cousins, and close family friends.
Masks will be required to attend along with appropriate social distancing of attendees.
