He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Simpson and Margaret Rudd Simpson; and his brother John Rudd Simpson (Jack). He is survived by: his brother William D. Simpson (Charlene) of Ashburn; his nieces, Linda Simpson, Janet S. Darwick (Shane), Kristen S. Creighton (Paul) and Kelly S. Peters (William); and his nephew Steve Wines.
