With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert A. Burke of Alexandria, Virginia, born in New York, New York, who passed away on February 15, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Burke and Sarah Burke; and his brothers, Richard, Edmond and Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Joan E. Breheny; his children, Moira Selinka (Jim), Robert Burke (Wendy), Matthew Burke (Rachel), James Burke (Keir), Dennis Burke (Monica) and Sean Burke (Jeff); his grandchildren, Connor, Bennett, Sean, Diana, Grace, Patrick, Spencer and Klara; his sister-in-law Ellen Breheny; and his goddaughters, Annemarie Burke, Anne Suter Zuk and Maureen Burke Kuhlkin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
