With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Ellsworth Pelkey (Alexandria, Virginia), born in Ware, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Pelkey (Betty); and his parents, Francis Pelkey and Eileen Pelkey. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Angela), Barbara Simmonds (Sidney), Teresa Horger (John), David (Cynthia) and Amy Nelson. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
