He was predeceased by: his parents, George Revell Michael and Mildred Heiser Michael of Baltimore. He is survived by: his wife Ann Dozier Michael. He is also survived by five children, and five grandchildren.
Revell served as president of the Alexandria Businessmen's Club, the Virginia Society of the American Institute of Architects, the Virginia Foundation for Architectural Education, and the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association, (the Athenaeum).
