It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Olena Kovalova of Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away, on April 28, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Oleksii Kovalov. She is survived by: her mother Kira Kovalova (Glushko); and her husband Slava Malyarchuk (Ukraine).

Due to the pandemic, a celebration will be planned with a Catholic Mass at the Good Shepard Catholic Church in Alexandria followed with inurnment at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Sibley Memorial Hospital, 5255 Loughboro Rd, N.W. Washington, DC 20016.
