It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mertice Lee Clark of Alexandria, Virginia, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warner Shifflett and Madie Shifflett; her husband Oscar D. Clark (Bill); her son Keith G.; and her sister Viola Hale.
She is survived by: her children, E. Elaine Clark (William Gregory), Jo A. Yehle (Doug Kelly) and Billy L. Clark; her grandchildren, Jason Yehle, Brandy Clark (Daniel Lester), Sheena Heflin (Joseph) and Keith A. Clark; her great grandchildren, Austin and Bryce Heflin; and her siblings, Warner Jr., Donald "Donnie" Shifflett and Charles "Sonny" Shifflett.
