He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Cornelius Beerthuis and Frances Peigh Beerthuis; and his brothers, Daniel, Timothy and Phillip.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Roberts Beerthuis; his children, Rachel Beerthuis of Chesapeake, Virginia and Allison Anderson (Peter) of Kenmore; and his grandchildren, Riley and Sarah Anderson.
