She was predeceased by: her father Antoinio Gutierrez. She is survived by: her son David Michael Waite; her sisters, Helen Thorpe, Rose Marie Betters and Anita Ann Bedeckovich; and her grandchildren, Krystle Blue Meadows and Shane Kirkland Meadows. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and friends.
After Roger's passing, she became involved with the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the American Heart Association where she donated to the organization until she passed.
