She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Dougherty and Margaret Williams Dougherty; her husband Jack (Jack); her children, Caitlin and John; and her siblings, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, William Dougherty and Robert M. Dougherty.
She is survived by: her daughters, Libby Cahill of Alexandria, Jane Cahill (Tim Graham) of Alexandria and Maureen Cahill Carita (Michael Carita) of Fairfax; and her grandchildren, Kathleen Carita, Daniel Carita of Fairfax and Matthew Brownlee of California.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church (8601 Wolftrap Rd SE, Vienna, VA 22182).
