He is survived by: his wife Gloria Otero; his children, Rosalia Otero, Carlos Otero, Jorge Velasquez and Francisca Otero; his grandchildren, Mauricio, Pablo, Florencia Perez, Natalia, Virginia, Sabrina, Lautaro Otero, Jared, Garrett and Mason Velasquez; and his great grandchildren, River Ashland Velasquez and Agustin Laramendi Perez.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
