It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda K. Sycks Whitmeyer of Alexandria, Virginia, born in Coshocton, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Sycks and Blanche Sycks (Woody); her brother Jerry Sycks; her nephew Andrew Sycks; her great-nephews, Mark Hale and David Gonter, Jr.; and her great-niece Sydney Dobbs.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Woody" Whitmeyer; her brother Jim Sycks (Sandra); her sister-in-law Martha Sycks; her stepson Jay Whitmeyer; and her friends, Nancy Carr, Barbara Dedics (Rehard) and Rachel Wheelock. She is also survived by several cousins, and many nieces and nephews that she treated like her own children.
