She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Hampton; and her brother Wilbur Keaton. She is survived by: her children, Michael G. Motley (Mayela), Andrea Crabtree and Leora Willis (Floyd); her grandchildren, Jonathan (Julie), Ashley, Jason Motley, Eric, Marco, Jack Crabtree, Floyd Jr. (Crystal), Brian Willis, Pamela (Samir), Donald (Angela) and Diane Hampton; her siblings, James Keaton, Edward Keaton, Homer Keaton and Louise Dawkins; and her pet Patsy. She is also survived by her numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
